1. COSTARE UN OCCHIO DELLA TESTA

Costare un occhio della testa is the first of the Italian body idioms you’re going to learn today. This expression is used to say that something is extremely expensive.

6. TIRARE LE ORECCHIE/DARE UNA LAVATA DI CAPO

Tirare le orecchie and dare una lavata di capo have the same meaning. The both mean to scold someone because s/he has done something wrong.
